Public Services is a wine and whisky bar located in the historic Houston Cotton Exchange Building in downtown Houston and is a landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Local architect Eugene Heiner designed the building in 1884. We specialize in an international selection of hard to find wines and whiskies.The bar is full service—we pride ourselves on attention to detail and unpretentious, friendly service staff.
Public Services offers a beautiful backdrop to host a private function, corporate meeting, wedding reception, whisky and wine tastings, or other special occasions. The space has 4,000 square feet, includes our side room, and can accommodate up to 150 people. (The side room has a standing room capacity of up to 50 people.)
